is called a 'walk-off' mat. Usually used at an entry point as a guard against slipping when first entering a building.

Of course these are also used in the restrooms. Good to know yours was used only a couple of time!

I know of another collector who also has a walk-off mat (or two) in his collection. At the last Convention he managed to get one of the ten footers that are used in The Orleans. They have that great alligator logo.
