Fred; Did I tell you about the time Brenda and I took a bump at Chicago's O'Hare Airport on the way out from Newark, NJ to one of the CC & GTCC Conventions a few years ago?

We each received a travel voucher for $300 each (American Airlines) and were re-booked for the next flight out in a couple of hours. Well, that flight was overbooked as well and we volunteered our seats again for another $300 each in travel vouchers and two confirmed seats on the last flight out to Vegas. Yep, you guessed it. That last flight to Vegas was also overbooked and we volunteered a 3rd time for another $300 each in vouchers, plus they put us up in a nearby Double Tree Hotel, a $50 meal voucher and First Class tix on the first flight out in the morning.

We were up $1800 and we never left O'Hare Airport that day! Probably our best trip ever to Vegas! You're right ... "got to be flexible!"
