I had my life's best slab-o-prime rib there about 7-8 years ago *L* (so not sure if the same place is even there anymore).
That place used to be "my place" to go gamble...we liked the north Shore 'cause it was more "homey" and small. Like many other joints that have been around awhile, it could use some updating, but it was my favorite place to gamble (and eat Prime Rib!) on the north Shore.
I lived at the time in Placerville, so we never stayed there for the night...though we did stay in the Pine Cone Lodge a time or two. Cool little cabins there. I would expect the rooms to be tired, but usable...same as the rest of The Lady was.
Keep in mind all my experiences there are from at least 7 years ago.
