... then he and his fellow officers can change everything they don't agree with. Meanwhile, the rules are the rules. Either abide by them, or do something to change them. They are not going to get changed by the spinning of FACT on this message board and by misrepresenting what others have to say ... or crying "clique" whenever one's position is not supported.
I'll say it one more time for the benefit of the new comers and for Stu. THE SLAB-FREE LIST HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE CLUB! it is STU, and STU alone, who keeps misrepresenting the facts otherwise and the posts of others.
But, having said that ... one can not escape the simple TRUTH that hundreds of club members support the slab-free program and pledge list, as do many past and present CC & GTCC officers; former Chapter officers; and appointed volunteers. That's the TRUTH Stu! Your efforts to spin the truth otherwise isn't working.
The fact is, that not every club member frequents this message board, or the fact that many club members are not on-line probably keeps that number below 1000. This is not a referendum, where a majority of club members rule. It is merely an expression of broad support from hundreds of chippers in this hobby (club members and non-club members alike) who desire to keep the hobby free of slabbed chips. I recognize that there are those who do not agree with this position.
I'm not arguing the merits of the whole slab issue, which has been debated over and over and over on this forum from time to time. The chipboard archives are full of those posts for those who would care to review them. I dislike the DISTORTION and MISREPRESENTATION OF FACT by those who may have personal axes to grind.
Your word games are over Stu.
