probably, despite my best efforts to the contrary, even MORE than two ???

Anyway, it's funny, after being on the internet and a myriad of boards, as long as I have, to walk into a hotbed of excitement and arm-wrestlin' like this *ducking* I have always felt that the best pots need a little stirrin' from time to time, and if not me, then who?

I am, on the surface, adverse to "slabbing" of any type - but I also believe that in situations such as this, I get to vote with my money. I dont' wanna slab something, well...then I don't send it in for slabbing *shrug*

I guess having been in the car-collecting hobby for around a half-handfull of decades has shown me that everyone has a hot-button. Probably most will never see many of mine. And as far as clubs are concerned (or life in general) it's a natural tendency to divide and group stuff, but more rewarding to combine and unite it :)

Anyway, it's a hobby to me, and a hobby, by nature, tends to be personal. So, torpedoes be damned...I don't tend to care much about what another's view of how I attend to my hobby is. It's cool to have a group of people that view it the same way, but ya know, as The Great Sage once said ;) ...ya can't please everyone, so ya gots to please yourself *wink*

Now, I think I have reached my limit of pontification for several weeks, so I'm off to pay for my tropicana 1999 NFR Rodeo chip (only 11 more years to find! )
