Jim, I have mailed many pc's recently and each one of them have been @.52 if they are in a bubble wrap and only one chip. I too have wondered about shipping costs and hate to think I am imposing any postage due. I was told that the .52 charge is because items in a bubble wrap have to be hand canceled.. I just go ahead and mail a single chip that way and pay the .52. I recycle bubble wraps I have received a chip in cause it makes sense. I peel off any tape and stuff I can and use fresh labels.
