I find it just fascinating that so many people watch a show like the Oscars when in all likelihood (according to the numbers) they don't agree with the nominees and probably haven't even seen the movies.

As a point of disclosure, I've seen all the movies on the top list (most in theater) and only Crash in the bottom list (rental). I have no intention of seeing the others and would rather watch a re-run of a movie on the top list.
