Doug, I'm not familiar with the Tarus, if your looking for a .22 handgun, why not the Ruger Security 6? It's a western-style single action. It comes with two cylinders for .22 short and .22 long (magnum). Personally, I got tired of carrying my Baretta 92F and just bought a Sig Sauer .380. Its so light I dont even feel it on my belt. Just my humble opinion. Good luck choosing.
