On the other hand, many like to engage in the competitive "I can spend more on this chip than you" aspect, so I doubt my policy would be widely used. But it has worked well for me...first bidder gets to keep bidding and vice versa; I've ebayed enough to know that eventually another specimen will appear- patience being a virtue.
Of course, let's not forget that quite a few people have multiple accounts....
