The B as shown on the 1st chip does appear in Ed Hertel's Illegal chips. But it is shown as a hub mold in Ed's book! It, hub mold, is ID'd as Lake Charles, LA.

The B , chain mold, as shown in the 2nd chip appears in Kregg Herz's US Playing cards on page 9, has no location!. Also shown as hub mold in Chicago 1929 with B as shown in Ed's book!
