ahhhh. I know that feeling well!
The one thing you might want to do: most email providers- hotmail, yahoo, etc. maintain an "abuse@yahoo.com" address. If you still have the email, forward it and the header to the abuse@xxxxx.com address. The company will suspend the scammer's eamil. (of course, the dork can always open a new account, but it's a small victory in any case).
