First of all....Wow 6 sets! If I remember correctly, you could buy them from the FM for $1.25 - $1.50 per Token ($90 - $108 per set). So your parents spent between $540 - $648 for the sets back in the 1960's.
The silver tokens are made of "Franklinium" (a cupro-nickel alloy with higher than ususal nickel content and impregnated with columbium).
The Gold ones are made "Franklin Brass".
3,100 complete Proof-Like sets were created.
Many sets have been broken down over the years and the tokens are sold in "panes" or by the token.
For some reason the tokens in the book bring higher values.
Sharon, are they still in the mailing boxes that the Franklin Mint Sent them in?
Please let me know if you need more information.
Ron.
