I purchased this plastic swizzle stick holder in a liquor store about 5 years ago. Thought it would make a cool display for some of my non-casino swizzle sticks.

This past weekend I was sorting a few sticks, so I emptied the holder. One stick wouldn’t come out. There was some sort of chemical reaction between the modern plastic holder & the older (circa 1960s) plastic swizzle stick. The stick melted and welded itself to the bottom of the holder. That glob at the bottom of the holder in the photo below is part of a swizzle stick. Obviously some plastics don’t mix. Maybe Katie can tell us what to watch out for.
