"I can not believe there is a hotel in LV that encourages a person to leave a child alone in a hotel room"
I didnt say there was. When I said 'in-house' baby sitting service, that means they come to your room.
"Not saying you would even think about it but I am sure there are some that would"
Someone in LV was prosecuted recently for doing just that. It made our news over here.
I dont have a problem with baby listening services (where the phone 'doubles up' as a walkie talkie, but thats for babies, in a house, where you are downstairs). IMO Vegas is probably the wrong vacation choice for someone in a baby.
My point was that wife and daughter would feel they either had to stay in the room or leave the hotel at the Riv. Had I been coming alone I would have definitely stayed there, both to support the club and for convenience. The standard of room would not have bothered me, Im never there
In any case, a couple of people told me that when they tried to book the Riv last year just a couple of weeks before the convention, the club allocated rooms were all taken.
