I just got back from a few days in Tunica and as always there is not much new happening there. The one big bit of news for some of us is that Ballys is apparently getting new roulettes. When I was there Monday they had Table A and C with new roulettes to replace the generics they still used on at least one table. The funny thing is that there were 2 different designs - one on each table. When I went back on Tuesday to harvest a few - the Table A roulettes were gone - as in no chips on the roulette table at all. Fortunately they were the less desirable of the two as far as design goes. I did manage to get a few of the new Table C roulettes and may have a few left to trade after I get done with Greg and Jerry.

The other small bit of roulette news is that Hollywood changed the most frequently used table chips from Table 5 to table 2. I picked up a few of the green ones and should have some to trade.

The only other info I was able to get was that a lot of former Horseshoe employees are now working at Fitzgeralds. The rumor was about Harrahs taking them over but I just don't see that happening since Harrahs just sold 2 properties to Resorts to avoid anti-trust problems. Maybe it just has more to do with the Horseshoe people not liking the Harrahs way of doing things.

I tried to pick up more Splash stuff this trip but the guy was sick and I never got to see him. I will try again in May when I go back for the gaming show.
