The rooms are pretty normal for a moderately priced hotel. It's not the Wynn or the Belaggio but you're not paying their prices either. I haven't stayed at the Boardwalk but the Riv is comparable to the Trop where our convention was four years ago. Choose either the Monico or the Monte Carlo towers. They are the newest ones. You can ask for a room with a view of the strip and I always ask for a room near the elevator.
