Some men in a pickup truck drove into a lumberyard. One of the men, a blonde guy, walked into the office and told the clerk, "We need some four-by-twos."

The clerk asked, "You mean two by fours, don't you?"

"I'll go and check..." said the blonde guy and went back to the truck. He returned and said, "Yeah, I meant two-by-fours."

"All right." said the clerk. "How long do you need them?"

Again, the blonde guy replied, "I'd better go and check."

After a few moments, he returned to the clerk and said, "A long time. We're gonna build a house."
