I did a lot of research on this in the last few months because we were ready for a new TV. After a lot of reading and asking questions, I purchased a Panasonic TH-50PX500U 50" Plasma. We are VERY pleased with it and after we chose it we noticed that Consumer Reports ranked it at the top.
