This is the first time I've received a fake AOL email. It looked completely legit, right down to the blue heading and borders and even had my name on it. To be sure, I phoned AOL and was told that it was indeed a phishing expedition.

Please Remember: AOL will never ask for your password or credit card number in an e-mail or IM.
