I have felt the Bellagio chips and they are a nice weight and are quite sturdy, for the price they are terrific, buy them and you can always upgrade to clay later. Besides its nice to have a 500 piece set you can throw in your car and take to a buddys house and not worry about. Hope this helps. John R-6920
