Thanks to all for the welcome! I'm collecting mostly Nevada chips right now. SOme of my favorite chips to look for are 1960's -1980's chips from Golden Nugget, Stardust, Fremont, and Tropicana. Also some of the small town chips too. I started collecting about a year ago when I found a Free Play chip at a swap meet. I do graphic design for a living and really appreciate the bold designs and color of some of the older chips. I also have been selling chips on e-bay, not to make money but so I can afford the chips I'm looking for!
