Kent - I was browsing through some images on my computer and found an old image of the South Shore Nevada Club. Guess what - the font does not match the font on the sign in your post the other day. Perhaps the South Shore Nevada Club had a different sign at some point - I think this is the one from 1953. I think the mystery remains....
