I never understood why there is a "reserve" and an "opening bid" option. If you won't take less than $100 on a chip, start the auction there. Don't start it at $0.01 and put a reserve on at $100.

And don't talk to me about market psychology. Supposedly you start an auction low and start a feeding frenzy, which drives up the price. I think that is silly.
