Officer M. belmont from the article is one of my friends and my brother in laws partner. My brother in law took Sat. off which he never does and missed out on all the action. With the exception of a broken wrist there were no serious injuries. Belmonts sergent who is a pretty big guy was actually picked up (by his chest) and held off the ground by one of the islanders.
