You can try, but I'm willing to bet you get the same reply I did a while back (on an 'NCR' topic).
About two years ago there was a drum head "autographed" by all four members of Led Zeppelin on fee-bay for $$$$$. OK- nice item...BUT, being a drummer, I noticed that the drum head bearing the signatures wasn't manufactured until the early 90s....and John Bonham died in September 1980 (talk about a tough signer LOL). So I emailed ebay. They replied in the typical form letter fashion: "while you might have a specialized knowledge of a particular collectible, our policy is to let the ebay buyers decide for themselves, etc. etc."
Try sending them the info...I bet you receive a similar answer. They're happily collecting seller fees and don't care about who gets burnt in the process
Good Luck!
