Notifying winning bidder their payment has been recieved and their purchase has been shipped.
I suppose because of "Ebay Seller's Credo" in the CCGTCC collector's Guide, I had several Emails asking how I had time to notify ever winning bidder their purchase has been shipped. They said they just didn't have time...Well, customers love it and it is just common courtesy.
Often, we have several hundred completed auctions due to ship. Some days you get hit with alot of payments. Likewise, you have alot of feedback to do. You can just send the notification at the same time, providing you don't hold feedback hostage and why would you unless you know you have reason to be worried?
The buyer has completed their part of the deal. Now, it's your turn to complete your end of the deal by providing them with a product they are happy with.
Here's the easy way to do it without using feedback forum and scrolling thru several hundred auctions.
First, write a little note and save it somewhere so that you can just copy and paste it when you need it. Here is what I use...simple..but it does the job:
Hi,
Your payment has arrived and your purchase has been shipped. Positive feedback has been left and we do appreciate the same.
IF FOR ANY REASON YOU ARE UNHAPPY WITH YOUR PURCHASE PLEASE CONTACT US BEFORE LEAVING NEGATIVE FEEDBACK AND WE WILL RESOLVE THE PROBLEM!!!
PLEASE NOTE: We are ocassionally gone for 2-3 days. However we answer all Email day or night when we arrive home. WE ARE NOT IGNORING YOU!!
If it just can't wait and sometimes it can't, call:

OK, Now go to any Ebay page and type the auction number in the search box...hit search...the auction page will come up...look on the page where it says, "Contact Buyer." Click on that...It will bring up a screen that shows the item number and name of item. Just copy and paste your little note in the box and hit send.
Then, a page comes up and the top click box says, "View Item description." Click on that, the original auction page comes up...click on leave feedback...Do your feedback..hit send and then go back to top, where there is another search box...Next item...
Ok, you say the guy just bought 26 items...I'm not going thru all that 26 times...throw multiple item sales to the side and go to the next single item.
Multiple items can be rapidly dealt with by clicking on "Site Map." at the top of any Ebay Page. When the page comes up you can look over in the far right column and click on "Leave feedback on a member." When that page comes up put their user ID in the search box and hit enter. Everything they have bought will come up. Simple case of usually picking something nice and enter it in the first item then copy and paste it to all the rest of items. Or, you can take the time to put something different in every item.
I have found that most folks like to see a feedback for every thing they purchased even though they only get one credit. Take the time it makes a difference with alot of folks.
We both put in 70-80 Hours a week on the railroad and still do many auctions. Of course, we do take breaks and catch up and then we get ready for the next round by listing items into Turbo Lister and we can dump them when we are ready.
The whole Ebay is just a thing of customer satisfaction...from what I have seen in the chip field, customer satisfaction is excellent, you are to be congratulated but many make it too hard or make alot of mistakes that cost you alot of money.
There are alot of little things that will save you money and lots of it that Ebay doesn't tell you.
My SIMPLIFIED Ebay, "Seller's Ebay Credo" You may agree or disagree...See below...
Happy Ebaying...
