Here's a fact:
Ten Republicans split with their colleagues to vote for acquittal; all 45 Democrats voted to acquit.
However, I agree that both parties have gone off the deep end and elected officials need to start voting with their minds instead of simply voting the party line.
Forget parties.. Alito appears to be a good and decent man who received nothing but praise from everyone who knew him. They couldn't find a single person to step forward and say something negative about him and yet he gets this kind of vote. The reality of today is that things have simply gone terribly wrong...
