He was high bidder of a $100 calculator auction with a shipping charge of $70.00. Usually it's the ebay newbies who don't read the fine print, but it happens to many others also. If the high bidder cares to retract their bid, they could use the ebay excuse "accidently entered wrong bid amount." A friend of mine had a NASCAR set on ebay selling for $1700.00 with one bid on it. Less than 12 hours the guy retracted his bid for that same reason. My friend did not appreciate it.
