"I know you have your reasons"
The club asked me to do this. They are not 'my' specific reasons.
Which part of the pledge did I not honor?
I seem to recall a similar discussion after I had a chip altered by Mr Whalen for the purposes of xray testing, a request by the Board of Directors after Whalen had refused to do it for Mr Skelton himself.

Hello David
The point of my posts was that it is not always black and white as to why someone buys a slab.
I dropped out of Slabfree because the way people who bought slabbed chips where looked down on.
I have never bought a slabbed chip nor would I have bought from someone that deals in them.
I believe you now have. I know you have your reasons, but you did not honor your pledge. Plain and simple.
As for seeing if some person is grading their own chips, I know many collectors who could grade chips better than IGA or the other slab companies
I did not mean to cause trouble, nor am I on a crusade against you. Just wanted to have others aware that the pledge they took is a way of giving their word and not to be taken lightly.
Norm
PS to this day I still honor the pledge I once took and will continue to whether or not my name is on a list.
Take care
Norm
