..own $ on the slabs. I was in for 1/3 and a 3rd club member was in for the other 1/3. I think he spent over $200 to make a display to help educate new collectors. We spent much more on counterfeit chips to make a display and let the club use it at the last convention.
We did this at our own expense and it had nothing to do with the CCGTCC or Slabfree Club.
I think you are way out of line.
David has given freely of his time and a considerable amount of his own $ to the building fund, besides doing the displays on his own time and his own expense.
If it takes the 3 of us breaking the pledge to find out what we are up against, then so be it.
We are NOT collecting these things, it is in the name of research on new slabs.
You seem to have a problem with David and Slabfree. Thats OK. I guess you will have one with me after this post. Thats OK too.
I think people will take you more seriously if and when you decide to give your time and $ to help other collectors.
