I’ll trade you three (count ‘em three!) of these Marlboro chips for one $1 casino chip from… anywhere!

I found two boxes of these Marlboro chips at a flea market a few years back. In the ‘90s Marlboro cigarettes ran a promotion in which you saved coupons from packs of smokes, and assuming you lived long enough, sent in a batch of coupons for “Marlboro Gear.” There was even a Marlboro Gear catalog. I found it amusing that to get a cheap piece of sports equipment you had to smoke a gajillion packs of cigarettes. (Didn’t anybody think that if you quit smoking butts you could buy every item in the catalog in about 6 months!) I think a Marlboro soccer ball wound up costing about $1000. But, I digress…

The chips are plastic injection molded chips. Pretty high quality for a promotional chip.
