Yesterday, Dave Smith made a post regarding Punch Boards. His post reminded me of a movie scene that I saw years ago where a punch board figured prominantly in a scam! That rememberance prompted me to consider a trivia contest, but asking one question was too simple.

Well, one thing lead to another, and another, and the next thing you know I had a 6 Degrees of Separation Contest envisioned.

Beginning with the punch board, this 6 Degrees of Separation contest will lead us through Las Vegas and into our very own Club. And since we all know that membership has its benefits, this contest is only open to current members.

The winner will be entitled to select any three of the chips pictured below:

All responses must be posted as a reply to this post or the previous post and the "Subject" must include name and membership number.

Here then are the questions:

1. What movie featured in one of it's scam scenes a punch board, with an Oscar winning female? Name the movie and the actor.

2. That same movie shared an actor who played a role in a movie where he lived in a radiation contaminated zone outside of Las Vegas. Name the movie and the actor.

3. That movie had a bit part for the film's Producer, who was also the Producer for two Las Vegas heist films, both of which also had a bit part for him. Name either film and the actor/Producer.

4. Both of those Las Vegas heist films featured an actor who played a role as the mobster Big Greenie in a film about a "crazy" Las Vegas visionary. Name the film and the actor.

5. That same film featured an actor who played the role of real-life actor and casino/mob interloper in a series of interlinked films about mobsters (including a foray into Las Vegas) that were directed by and produced by this person. What is his name and what was the series of films called.

6. This Director/Producer also did a film that prominently featured songs from the 50's and 60's in the form of a radio playing in the background. A feature DJ of the radio station was a real-life DJ who is a member of the Radio Hall of Fame. What was the on-air name of that DJ and and what is the on-air name of another Radio Hall of Fame DJ who is also a member of the *CC* ?

I applaud Kevin Casey and Paul Biggs, both of whom made strong attempts at posting a correct response, but neither one were 100% correct.
