Having a quiet day out here in "the sticks" when I heard a "bahhhh" outside. Hummm, doesn't sound like our dog, so when I looked out the front window, WOW - 150 sheep in our front yard! A neighbor was trying to move his sheep down the road (we had snow last night and he was moving them to an area with more grass), when 1/2 the flock broke away and headed for our house. Thank heavens his 2 border collie mixed dogs showed up and handled the entire situation. Those 2 dogs herded all the sheep back across the road and through the pasture gate in about 3 minutes. Pretty impressive! I finally got to meet this neighbor, nice fella 'cept he was wearing one of those flannel hats with the ear flaps - funny looking, but functional!
That's my idea of a traffic jam!
