Jim, you state:
"Nowhere does it state that these chips were ever used within the casino or were ever put into play in any of the casinos."
The important point is that the auction never states that this chip is NOT from the casino.
By stating the phrase "Casino Chip" an uninformed person would only logically assume the chip is from the casino. After all, it says "Landmark Casino Chip" Why would it say Landmark Casino Chip, if the chip wasn't from the Landmark Casino" We only know this because we are informed collectors.
Again, it comes back to my contention that if a chip is not from a casino, it can not be called a casino chip.
How about we here from some of our other experienced collectors. Any other opinions out there??
