At one time I owned 50% of a fine arts gallery. Then and now what I really laugh at is the term COA [ Certificate of Authenticity ]
While the COA isn't the issue here, even if this gentleman had one, what would it prove?
If the work in question was a forgery, how difficult would it be to fake a COA?
As far as a COA goes, It's worth would be nil.
