In response to your quote below. I belive you stated that the silver slipper closed in 1950. Kind of makes one wonder about the rest of your statment.
Here is direct from Wikipedia:
Silver Slipper From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
The Silver Slipper was a Las Vegas, Nevada casino that operated from September 1950 to November 29, 1988.
"if you want chapter and verse, there are close to 30 of these chips known. About half of those are cancelled (with drill hole). At least one of those has had the drill hole filled.
The chips are from 1943, NOT the 1950's. The place closed in 1950.
Since one sold for $1200, a dozen more examples have showed up. I wonder how long it will be before the rest of the rack shows up. It will.
EVEN "IF" it was one of two known how could you describe it as "Rare One of Kind 1950's Silver Slipper $25 Casino Chip"
Why are you really trying to sell it for your friend?
1. He is fed up with emails. I doubt it.
2. He doesnt want to get caught out for misdescribing it. Possibly.
3. He doesnt want anyone to find out he has a full box of them. Probably. "
