That was absolutely hilarious when she started rooting through her purse for more money... you shoulda seen the look on Greg's face. It was priceless.
Just as priceless was when she asked me what time it was at 11:30. She said "$hit... I was supposed to have dinner with my boss." How can you be 5 hours out of touch like that?????
And lucky me was the winner of the sit-and-go before that game. It was pretty funny, actually, the people that weren't part of our group were seated and saying that they hoped that (some woman) wasn't playing in the tournament because she had won the previous couple that they had played in and she was this unbeatable player. She showed up and sat down next to me, and I asked her if her last name was Brunson.
It was NOT a tournament I'd play in again for 2 reasons: #1, the house rake is obscene ($10 of the $55 entry fee goes to the house), and #2, the payoffs are very inequitable - $360 for first place and $90 for second.
When it was just her and me left, she had just about all of the chips... I jokingly asked her if she wanted to chop the money. On my way toward evening the chip count, I asked her after every hand, and she refused. When our stacks were dead even, I told her "this is the last time I'm asking... you're gonna wind up with 90 bucks if you say no again." Luckily she said "no" and I just steamrolled her. That's what happens when you get greedy!
