My, MY, your making a lot of assumtions on the way I think. First I am a conservative not a liberal. Second You ask, "why do folks like you always look for the government to provide for you". I don't, I live quite well thank you. But I have learned over the years to have compassion, not contempt for others not as fortunate as you and I. Third, you assume I would support all the "free" care to inmates because I'm a liberal, you couldn't be more wrong. Fourth, since you think it is OK for Corps to renege on the word of healthcare for retirees I suppose you also think its OK for Corps to skim the profits out of pension plans so now a growing number can't meet their retirement obligations. And last, you asssume I want the government to take care of me from cradle to grave, how wrong you are. But I do expect a government that will act on the best interest of all the people. not special interest groups and big business.

I do not make any assumtions about you. You are obviously deeply entrenched in your own way of thinking (as am I) and I have no problem with that. However, like most self professed intellectuals you confuse intellect with wisdom.
