The State of Washington is about to allow used banks of chips to Not be notched or destroyed when a casino or card room closes, or switches to a new logo. As a collector of different chips throughout Washington and elsewhere, this will ruin the value of my collectable chips and make them worthless. Instead WSGC's going to allow the owners to sell these used chips and the market of the individaul collectors chips goes in the toilet bowl!!!Please help as this type of change in policy will affect you also...its just a matter of time that it comes to your favorite casino or card room. You can help by emailing: CLD@wsgc.wa.gov and tell them your against WAC 230-02-412. The public hearing takes place in February. All chips should be destroyed or notched when a casino or card room closes or changes their chips!
