No, I did not place the decimal in the wrong place. Yes, it was my way of being nice, in hopes that I would not be put on the spot again with that question. Yes, I should have made it clear right from the get-go.
I have set my reserve many thousands lower than the final selling price of this auction.

Some people are perfectly comfortable in paying for what they feel is a good price for a single chip. Then on the other hand there are people who would rather purchase a collection of chips. In this case, I happen to be offering more than just chips, and I do realize that a dealer would be bidding much lower in hopes of purchasing them cheap, in order to resell them back to us at much higher prices. I don't fault them for that, it's their business.

If it doesn’t reach the reserve and sell, then everyone who bid on it, is out $0.
You can’t find entertainment any cheaper than that!
