Re: "I just politely reply to inquiries that I do not reveal the price"
j.canz; No hard feelings on my end, and by the way what a great concept! It was my fault for not directly answering in the manor you described. I guess I was hoping no one would re-ask, then that would be that.
I feel that it's a personal decision and should be left up to the seller as to whether or not
His or Her auction reserve be made public. I come apart like a cheap suit when I’m placed on the spot, then drug into a defensive verbal exchange over it.
Yes the reserve is high to some, but for others it may not be. I "personally" would entertain buying a turn key collection if it were one that appealed to me, at any price. I also paid / traded a great deal of chips in order to accumulate that collection. So protecting my investment is a wise move in my opinion.
If it doesn’t reach the reserve and sell, then everyone who bid on it, is out $0.
You can’t find entertainment any cheaper than that!
Sorry for the misunderstanding,
Sam
