I have some pics of similar equipment in the UK - my wife & I both worked for the railways here and my wife (who still does) used to work for the local division that looked after those machines - she can identify them as we fly past on a train!

Somewhere I have hundres of slides of UK railways taken when I was younger (about 20 years ago) - if anyone knows of a way to scan slides I'll show a few!
