If me, I do not know when the Chipcos were made, now why they were made. I only know that the ship sank and separate from that was that Chipco experienced a fading problem.

As I recall, Gene Trimble wrote an article for the CCTN about Chipco's troubles, but I cannot find my copy, nor is it on the Club's archives page.

This would relate to the time frame in which Chipco was having problems and perhaps Gene's research may have some data about the Club Royales.

It is also possible that non-faded Club Royales may have been made at the same time as the faded ones, only they may have been from a better batch of resin. I just do not know.
