I don't mean to be hostile. I am sorry if that is what you feel. I am just trying to point out how absurd your point was to me. You used those examples (slavery and voting rights) in the context of this discussion, not me. Who are these Christians trying to impose "Merry Christmas" on you? Most Christians see it as EXACTLY the opposite. Certain non-Christians are trying to impose "Happy Holidays" on the rest of US.
And I should embrace your (don't take this personally, I mean it rhetorically) culture while you tear mine down? I could care less what anyone wished me this holiday season......as long as it was sincere, I would accept the sentiment with grace and thanks, not with anger and a lawyer.
