These chips were made after the Club Royale sank trying to outrun Hurricane Erin on August 3, 1995. The chips that they actually used on the ship were not Chipco's, they were RTP's. I do not know why the Chipco's were made, perhaps there was some thought of getting a replacement boat. In any event, these chips were never used in a casino and I would classify them as fantasy chips.
