What Boyd (Stardusts' holding company) wants to do, is fully utilize the value of their land to their stockholders benefit (if they don't do this, the company will be bought by a group that will).

As collectors, we are keen to the loss of things we hold dear - but time marches on. Already, there are people that have stories to tell about their first time in Vegas: at the Wynn, Venetian, or Palms - these are the people that will keep Vegas going into the future. Far better this ambitious project, than another shopping mall or Home Depot monstrosity! I never played at the Landmark, but I wish I could! CHIPS, CHIPS REMAIN - TO THOSE THAT KNOW & APPRECIATE!
