I have been saving state quarters since they came out in 1999. My goal was (and is) to put together 10 sets of all the quarters as they come out. Around Thanksgiving my cat broke the jar they were in and I finally decided to organize the lot. I kept 5 Ds and 5 Ps for each (I am still looking for some), and rolled up and cashed in $203 in state quarters. Keep in mind these were not mint, they were ones I got in change etc.

If it helps, when I go to Vegas I try to find a casino that still uses quarters, and I buy a hundred dollars worth and keep what I need and cash in the rest.

I will see what I may have, and will keep my eyes open for Ds.
