The newest Coast casino, the South Coast opened tonight at 7:00 PM following fireworks in southern Las Vegas. Large crowd on hand for the opening. Very nice inside with better carpeting than at Wynns. Nicely decorated and a good choice of machines. Several restaurants that were crowded within the hour. Three Silver Strike machines - strikes have pictures of horses. See below for the $1 & $5 chip and the $1 token. Easy parking and access to casino.
