Without having seen the episode, I can't comment. I can tell you that a lot of what they show on CSI is real science...the only difference is that they have way more expensive equipment than any one department would have...and the time it takes to get various results back from "the lab" is phenomenal!

Something else that cracks me up about those shows is when the investigator gets frustrated with "the lab" and decides to work up the evidence on their own..that's always funny..that would never happen.

I wish I'd seen it now! I was grading my last lab report when it was on....Yippee!!! One more day and I'm done!!!
