I don't ever take someone disagreeing with me as a personal attack so don't worry about it.

Your argument is quite flawed for several reasons.

1) It confuses use of drugs with abuse of drugs.

2) It does not differentiate bewteen "drug" use and alcohol use, or overeating for that matter.

Health Insurance, and health care costs have gone through the roof for many reasons almost all exclusively having to do with government intervention in the market place. Thats another argument for another day.
